- My favorite movie; The Exorcist and my favorite all time celebrity; Marilyn Monroe which I have painted numerous times in my career come together in dark splendor .Remember where you saw it first. This is pop art history. This mash up has not been done by anyone else including Terry Mr.Brainwash. This painting is hand painted by me not fifty art assistants.
I like doing the work myself and I only paint things I care about.

INK serves to examine and celebrate the art, culture, lifestyle, history, anthropology and sociology of tattoos, tattooing, and being tattooed. The practice of permanently inking the body spans all cultures, religions and lifestyles throughout history.
Tattoo-inspired artwork of all mediums will be on gallery display from more than 150 local, national and international jury-selected artists, such as Matt Hockaday, Aunia Kahn, VATO, Mark Arminski, Justin Aerni, Kelly.X, Lance Kellar, Phresha, Ryan Myers, Chad Michael Ward and Marie Larkin, as you enjoy live, thrilling entertainment by Izgreyala, Mercury Suspension with Lotus Purgatory, and Detroit’s beloved Mistress of Ceremony Meridith Lorde.
Guests will also have a chance to shop numerous local vendors, such as InkAddict, Ink Detroit, Killer Crowns, DVS, Mettle Wear, Adam & Eve, Poisoned Ivy Designs, & Wingless Wings, as well as browse the INK. Print Store.
The VIP Collector’s Preview begins Friday, May 10th from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
